GARY FERRARA Gary Ferrara has been a licensed cosmetologist since 1975. For 30 years he has worked in the cosmetology industry to promote education and innovation. He worked at Ciandrea Hair Salon on Madison Ave in New York City for 3 years and then went on to become an instructor for Robert Fiance Hair Design Institute. While at Robert Fiance, Mr. Ferrara trained students in all aspects of Cosmetology. After developing his skills as a licensed cosmetology instructor, Mr. Ferrara was promoted to manager of Robert Fiance. In this capacity he helped grow the business of educating students in the field of cosmetology. In 1986 Mr. Ferrara decided to go out on his own and open his first Salon. Following many successful years owning Gary Roberts Salon in Port Washington, Mr. Ferrara decided to return to education. This was his true passion. He joined the Learning Institute for beauty Sciences as an instructor. He grew to the position of Director of the LIBS school in Brooklyn. He then went on to become the director of the LIBS Levittown location. In 2000 He purchased the Levittown location from LIBS corporate and began to grow the school. Since then Mr. Ferrara moved the school across the street to a newly renovated and modern facility. He implemented a new curriculum and renamed the school Brittany Beauty School. He continues to grow his enrollment to 3 times the number of students when he took control. Mr. Ferrara believes in providing the best quality of instruction for all of his students. As the owner of Brittany Beauty School he utilizes his extensive industry connections to personally assists in placing his students throughout the cosemetology field. Vincent Jason Ferrara Mr. Ferrara comes from a long line of Cosmetology educators. Growing up in a family of Cosmetologists Vincent represents the 3rd generation of cosmetology professionals and has been immersed in the beauty industry all his life. As a boy he spent much of his time in his grandfather's school "Robert Fiance" where his father served as the School Director. As an adult Vincent went to work for his father and managed the "Learning Institute for Beauty Sciences (LIBS)” in midtown Manhattan, the largest Cosmetology school in New York, for over four years. After a merger between LIBS and a much larger company Vincent decided it was time to bring back the personal touch to beauty education. Partnering with his uncle Gary Ferrara the two went on to create Brittany Beauty School.
